A 15-year-old boy stabbed to death in the Eastern Cape

A 15-year-old boy died after he was stabbed to death in Ngqeleni near Mthatha.

It is alleged that an 18-year-old killed the boy after they had an argument in a grazing field.

Police Spokesperson Mzukisi Fatyela said the 18-year-old boy stabbed the victim to death and was later arrested on the same day.

Provincial police said the motive for the killing is unknown at this stage but an investigation is underway.

Fatyela added that the suspect is expected to appear in court on Friday.
