ACDP calls on Cape Town Mayor to stand up for women rights

The African Christian Democratic Party today said at no stage in our democracy can inequality creep in and have foothold ever again.

ACDP has called on Mayor Patricia de Lille to stand up for the rights of women in the city.

This follows the case at the CCMA whereby it has been revealed that female fire-fighters forfeit their allowance when on maternity leave.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said there’s no place for inequality in this country.

“Females should be treated the same as men.” Christians added.
