The Congress of South African Trade Union in the North West said it is disappointed at the eviction of farm workers and farm dwellers in Boshoek illegally.

It alleged that the Royal Bafokeng administration dismantled houses without any notice or court order.

Cosatu’s Provincial Spokesperson Solly Phetoe said they have asked South African Human Rights Commission including Land Affairs in the North West to intervene and take them to court as the matter of urgency.

Phetoe added that they (Royal Bafokeng) would have to take responsibility of demolishing and damaging the properties of poor people.
