The Democratic Alliance said the City of Johannesburg has an ongoing billing crisis.

According to media reports the African National Congress has received 3.5 million rates bill from the City of Johannesburg.

DA said this also exposes the absurdity of the Mayor’s continued denial that there is a crisis.

DA Leader in the City of Johannesburg Mmusi Maimane said that it is quite ironic to find that the ANC has been sent by its own government a bill of R3.5 million.

Maimane added that this proves once again that far from over in terms of releasing the quality of billing that are inaccurate and in some ways the irony that caused the City of Johannesburg to get its house in order.
