Metrorail unveiled new service improvement plan

Metrorail on Thursday unveiled its service improvement plan. 
 
Metrorail Spokesperson Lawrence Venkile said the current reality is that the old and poor condition of rolling stock and infrastructure impact negatively on the ability of Metrorail in achieving its objective of delivering quality services to customers.

Venkile added that among the improvements includes service redesign, security and safety assets and operational safety. 

He also added that there are many key issues that will be attended to amongst them are overcrowding and they will be attended to with a total redesign of the service to respond to the challenges.

Furthermore he said that when these things are addressed it will open the way for many other things such a s crime to be eliminated.
