A 31-year-old man was sentenced to twenty years in jail by the Knysna Sexual Offences Court after he was found guilty of rape.
It is alleged that the man raped a
12-year-old on school grounds.
The girl only reported the ordeal to
her parents later when they then reported the matter to the police.
Captain Malcolm Pojie said initial
reports show that the incident happened last year and the victim was lured into
a school ground and raped.
