Lansdowne police have managed to track down a suspect in connection with the murder of Professor Theo Manuel in his Crawford home.
According to police spokesperson Elliot Sinyangana the suspect was found in Delpoort hoof in Kimberly.
“The alleged suspect was arrested on the 08th May 2008 in Delpoort hoof, Kimberley. He made his first appearance in the Barkley West Magistrate court on the 09th May 2008, where in the case was remanded to the 15th May 2008,” says Sinyangana.
He elaborated that transfer documents were processed and authorities arranged for the suspect to appear in the Athlone Magistrate court On Thursday 15 May 2008.
“The suspects name cannot be released right now due to the fact that he hasn’t pleaded yet."
