A house robbery took place in Bishopscourt let the two occupants of a house being tied up and left in a room.
According to police spokesperson Angie Latchman the incident followed after the home owners returned from a book club seminar
“He activated his remote control gate, and drove to the garage, however it is further alleged that three unknown males managed to gain access into the premises before the main gates could close,” she says.
Latchman elaborates that after the complainant got out oh his vehicle the suspects’ then gun pointed the complainant led him up to the main house and then demanded for the safe to be open.
“The suspects then tied up the complainant and his wife and locked them in one of the bedrooms and fled the scene in the complainants’ two vehicles, a Mercedez Benz SLK 350 and a Mercedez Benz Compressor CLK C23.”
No shots were fired and arrests have yet been made.
