Motorists have been warned to exercise caution at busy intersection in the Western Cape, following a number of smash and grab attacks on woman.
According to Warrant Officer Ian Bennett, most of the attacks took place at the corners of the N2 and Vanguard drive.
Thieves normally target female drivers travelling alone because they are less likely to fight back.
He said, “Motorists must ensure that all their valuables, including cellphones and handbags are not visible."
