The Freedom Front Plus says that the necklacing of alleged criminals in Khayelitsha is not acceptable.
In the last two weeks the community has been using necklacing to punish criminals.
At least eight people have been killed in vigilante attacks in the township and in Macassar.
Freedom Front Plus’ Pieter Groenewald says serious intervention is needed by the Minister of police Nathi Mtethwa.
