A pedestrian was this
afternoon killed after a car knocked him over on the N2 in Khayelitsha, while
the occupant of the vehicle was left injured.
The exact details of the
cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.

Meiring said ER24 paramedics were on scene within minutes after receiving the
emergency call.They discovered the man’s lifeless body lying some distance away
from the vehicle.
“The occupants of the
vehicle sustained only minor injuries and were there after transported to a
nearby hospital for further treatment.The exact cause of the collision is not
yet know Meiring added.
