The ANC in the Western Cape says the DA led
provincial government’s behaviour is unbecoming.
This after the province complains that other
provinces get more money than they get.
The DA rejected the 338 million allocated for
salaries in the adjustment budget, but on Friday it welcomed and thanked
government for this money.
Pierre Hys explains…..
“We are concerned that service delivery will
not be rendered as necessary, we looking at our schools, we looking at Health
care facilities and therefore we say it is wrong for them to lower the money
just before local government elections, where they will then go to the communities
and dish out the money that they are not utilising now. The money must be used
for the services it was budget for now, not wait to use the money as a election
ploy.
