The 32-year-old man who was arrested for the murder of Ntomboloxo Mtongana in Gugulethu on Friday night is appearing in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court today.
“The body of Mtongana was found by police in an in NY8,” says police spokesperson Inspector Bernadine Steyn.
Steyn added that the deceased was found near the front door with two open wounds to the neck and on to the chest.
“The motive for the incident is still not known,” says Steyn.
