Transport and Public Service Minister Marius Fransman informed the public about efforts to improve the public transport system as we head for the biggest entertainment show in the world, the Soccer World Cup.

These efforts included introducing 110 new buses. Today Minister Fransman will be the keynote speaker at the introduction of the brand new buses.

“It is new generation buses in the sense that they are passenger friendly than the others,” Spokeperson of Golden Arrow Vuyisile Mdoda.

For example if a bus drives into a bus stop there is a step that swings out which enables a person to step on it without having to raise their leg any higher, so it makes life very easy, adds Mdoda.
“There are other features that are technical and I think that are a vast improvement,” says Mdoda
