#The 57th annual Maynardville Community Chest is taking place from February 27 until Saturday 1 March. There will be plenty of entertainment, live music and themed jazz evenings. The event starts at 6pm and the entrance fee is between R5 and R25. For more information call 021 761 2082.

# The Central Hockey Club wishes to expand their Youth Division which caters for boys and girls aged 8 to 18 years. # The newly formed Mitchell’s Plain People’s Forum in partnership with the Premier’s office is inviting all organisations from all sectors to the official launch of structure on Saturday March 8 from 9:15am to 4pm. #The Homeless People’s Sanctuary invites the unemployed and homeless to apply for sewing, candlemaking, soapmaking and lifeskills programmes.
