The teenager from Gugulethu who was reported missing by her parents on Saturday afternoon was found unharmed on Monday morning at a house in Delft.
“She apparently spent the weekend with friends who are not known to her parents, but the matter is being investigated,” says police spokesperson Billy Jones.
The search for 15-year-old Nomvuyo Mabusela started after she was last seen on Friday walking from a local high school in Claremont. Her parents reported her missing at the Claremont police station the next day.
Jones says Nomvuyo is unharmed and is happily reunited with her family.
