A 32-year-old man from Saldanha Bay has been formally charged with the murder of a young girl who disappearance on Thursday night.
The ten year old Montesha Kekana was last seen near her home in the Iraq Informal Settlement in Saldanha.
She was seen with the suspect while police have reported that they found the girl’s shoes in the man’s possession but have not yet found her body.
“The 32-year-old male will remain in custody until he appears in court on Monday,” said the police’s Bernadine Steyn.
