Water interruption to take place in Fish Hoek

Due to upgrades being done on the local water reticulation system, The City of Cape Town's Water and Sanitation Department will be interrupting the water supply to parts of Fish Hoek in order allow the contractor doing the upgrading of to carry out work.

The City’s Farouk Robertson says the water supply will be interrupted from 09:00 to 19:00.

“The areas that will be affected are in the vicinity of Ranger, Echo, Hillside Roads as well Simon’s Town Main Road close to the railway line,” said Robertson

Residents are kindly requested to ensure that all taps remain closed during this period otherwise large volumes of water may be lost or water damage may occur if the water supply is restored and nobody is at home.
