Pupils and staff at Johannesburg’s Vorentoe High School are receiving support after a grade 11 learner was stabbed to death outside the school yesterday afternoon.

A police member who was fetching his child from school witnessed the stabbing and called the police to the scene.

Five youngsters were then immediately arrested in relation with the boy’s murder.

According to the Gauteng education department, none of the suspects are pupils at the school. However, reports confirm that one of them had been expelled from the institution.
