Three Correctional Services officials have been suspended for their alleged involvement in an escape attempt.
On Wednesday three prisoners from the Pretoria Central prison tried to escape.
One of the escapees Bongani Moyo's lawyer is considering legal action against Correctional Services Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula for show off the men on television.
The Correctional Services Spokesperson Sibongile Khumalo points out that the attempt had been Moyo's third break from custody in less than 12-months.
Khumalo added that the arrested officers will appear in court soon.
