The Automobile Association has reminded
motorists who want to save a few Rands to fill up today
ahead of another fuel price increase at midnight tonight.
Petrol goes up by 23-cents-per-litre for 95 octane and 21-cents for 93, while diesel will increase by 40-cents-per-litre.
The AA’s Gary Ronald says with the school holidays under-way, the increase will affect many travellers.
Apart from driving safely, Ronald says motorists can also save fuel by driving smartly by dropping erratic driving habits such as accelerating and braking harshly when it isn't necessary.
