The Western Cape MEC for Community Safety Dan Plato has been going around to many communities affected by crime.

Plato has been encouraging youth to return to school.

Plato said many youths become involved in crime as a result of lack of opportunities.

He said FET Colleges are supporting his campaign by supplying information.

He further said the youth will be providing with information on how to access bursaries.

He added that the youth he spoke to in Manenberg and West bank on Monday showed a lot of enthusiasm.
