23 drivers were arrested in WC

Cape traffic officials conducted 24 roadblocks throughout the province.

Provincial Traffic Chief Kenny Africa said 2 471 cars were stopped and 23 drunk drivers were arrested.

2 319 drivers were arrested for speeding and 294 fines were issued.

On the provincial roads two deaths were reported.
