Two people died this afternoon in a
shooting incident on the R614 in Verulam. The couple was both shot while they
were driving in their vehicle.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha
when they arrived at the scene they found a woman tragically had died due to
severe injuries she had sustained.
“The man had sustained life
threatening injuries, paramedics did extensive resuscitation on him but he too
died due to injuries he had sustained,” Botha added.
The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage.
