The Western Cape Department of Health today
said Mfuleni will be getting a temporary health facility as the present
facility has major space constraints.
Ministerial Spokesperson Helen Rossouw said
the provincial health department is working closely with all stakeholders to
ensure the proposed design of the interim Mfuleni facility structure.
Rossouw said a decision has been taken to
put up a new facility, an interim facility until the new facility has been
constructed.
“It is expected to be used as a health
facility and it will be able to be used as a multi purpose hall or a place
where the community can host sport events Rossouw added.
