Serious injuries in Pinetown shooting

Netcare 911 paramedics attended to a shooting incident near the intersection of Shepstone and Henwood roads in Pinetown whereby a security guard and another person were shot. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said the security guard and the other person sustained very serious gunshot wounds

"They were both treated on the scene then transported to nearby hospital for further care” said Botha 

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
