Cape Town Battered by Rain


Jason MurphyNovember 1st 2015  The City of Cape Town’s Disaster Risk Management Services say officials are on high alert after the South African Weather Service issued a warning for heavy rainfall and possible flooding.

The Cape Winelands, Overberg and Eden districts have also been placed on high alert for today. South African Weather Service spokesperson Cartlon Fillis explains: “A depression over the Southern Pennisula has caused extensive rain. This is expected to continue today and there is the high possibility of urban flooding”an flooding”
