The strike of the
cable way company will commence today.
The cable way will
be brought to a standstill until the workers reasonable demands for a decent wage
and humane conditions of employment are met.
Jan Kotze from
Saccawu says While the strike is underway the cable way cannot guarantee the
safety of passengers with their temporary untrained staff.
Cosatu cautions
users of the cable way to avoid the cable way for the duration of the strike.
