Members of the National Council of Provinces will from Monday 13 to Friday 17August 2007 visit their respective provinces to focus on service delivery challenges.
‘We will be going back to our respective provinces to renew the mandates and be in touch with the people there, doing oversight work and meeting with various premiers,” says Chief member Victor Zenfour.
The visit themed addressing challenges for effective and sustainable service delivery to our people will provide a platform for a briefing and reflection on key issues relating to each province.
Feedback from these follow-up visits will be shared with people in the respective provinces at various public meetings attended by MEC's and MPL's on Wednesday and Thursday during the week of the visit.
