Five people were injured when a bakkie allegedly rear- ended an Opel Monza on Baden Powell Drive in the direction of Muizenberg near the Mew Way intersection last night.
ER 24 spokesperson Tristan Wadeley says, “On arrival of emergency services the one who was victim still trapped in the bakkie had to be cut out of the vehicle by the fire department but only suffered moderate injuries”.
Two serious patients, both from the Monza, were taken to Tygerberg Hospital, the patient with moderate injuries was taken to G.F. Jooste hospital, and the remaining two patients that had sustained only minor injuries were taken to Khayelitsha Day Hospital.
