This morning a man was shot dead outside the Blue Downs Magistrate Court
It is believed that the man was a pastor; he was appearing in court for a case of abalone.
No arrests have been made yet.
Police’s Thembinkosi Kinana said it is alleged that three men were spotted in the vicinity of the court, before the incident.
Kinana also said they have opened a murder docket and investigation continues.
