Three suspects arrested in KwaZulu Natal for possession of drugs

Police in KwaZulu Natal this week arrested three suspects aged between 27 and 38-years-old at the Golela Border Post for being in possession of dagga. 

Police received information that there was a truck on the N2 freeway carrying drugs.

Colonel Jay Naicker said after searching the vehicle they found three passengers and inside the vehicle a bag containing dagga inside the cabin of the truck.

Naicker said the drugs weighed in over 11kg and had a street value of approximately R16 000.

“The three suspects were arrested for possession of drugs” Naicker added.
