The Hanover Park Community Health Centre has reopened its doors after shutting down due to gang violence in the area.
Patients had to be evacuated and taken to other facilities after a shooting broke out near the centre at the weekend.

The Western Cape Health Department's Monique Johnstone says, “The facility is up and running and it is fully functional. The closure was for that one evening. She says there is sufficient security at the facility for safety concerns of the staff and the patients.
