# Cape Town Child Welfare needs people under the age of 45 to become adoptive parents or emergency parents. Any stay-at-home mothers, with slightly older children, should consider community emergency parenting. Call Anne Bruce on 021 790 2300 for details.

# The Cape of Good Hope SPCA needs blankets for the many animals it has rescued during the wet weather. If you can help contact Lindy on 021 700 4141.

# Volunteer Centre Mitchell’s Plain is having an opportunity for Community Based Organisations to send their office Volunteers on free Training in:
· Ms Word and Excel,
· Power Point,
· e-mail and internet,
· Office and telephone Etiquette and
· Basic Administration.

It will be hosted at the Beacon Valley Community Frail Care Centre well known as the Old age Home from the 20th until the 24th of August from half-past-eight till four-o-clock. Limited seats are available so contact Shahida Dudley on 021 376 3741 before the 8th of August to avoid disappointment.

# Traders are invited to apply for a stall at the Adderley street night market which will take place from December the 17th until December the 30th. Only locally made crafts, gifts, food, jewellery, clothing, homeware and garden accessories will be considered. Contact Zolani Zenzile on 021 419 1881 for details and application forms.
