The Treatment Action Campaign says it supports government's proposed National Health Insurance Bill.

The organisation however has expressed its concern over the implementation of the system.

TAC chairperson Nonkosi Khumalo says they want assurances from government that the money spent on the NHI will only be used for the provision of services.

Khumalo says before the Bill can be implemented, hospitals need to be managed more effectively.

She says community healthcare workers should also be included in the system
