The Railway Safety Regulator has today dismissed allegations of nepotism and irregular appointment of CEO Nkululeko Poya.

The RSR said the allegations leveled against Poya are to discredit his record of adhearing to the organisation’s policies and processes, as well as the Public Finance and Management Act.

Acting Senior Manager of Communications at RSR Babalwa Mpendu said they just want to place it on record that all the allegations are without substance and furthermore their board will pronounce on the issue as indicated that they have followed all processes.

Furthermore Mpendu adds that they therefore strongly deny any insinuation that the CEO of the RSR has ever interfered with the human resource processes.
