The National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union (Nehawu) has strongly condemned the alleged threats by the Minister of Health to dismiss health workers who are striking.
According to their statement, the union stated before that such threats could only provoke more anger form the workers and undermine the current negotiations in the PSCBC which are at the sensitive stage.
With the current situation at health facilities, also a direct consequence of government failure to agree to a Minimum Service Agreement with the unions, negotiations are the only way to get the unions to stop striking.
