#Cape Town Child welfare is urgently seeking donations of good quality childrens clothing for children from birth to 14 years.Boys’ clothes are particularly urgently required. Cape Town Child Welfare’s donations store in Gatesville may be able to arrange for collection of donations.

#Volunteer Centre Mitchell’s Plain is having an opportunity for Community Based Organisations to send their office Volunteers on free Training in:

  • Ms Word and Excel
  • Power Point
  • E-mail and internet
  • Office and telephone Etiquette and
  • Basic Administration

It will be hosted at the Beacon Valley Community Frail Care Centre well known as the Old age Home from the 20th until the 24th of August from half-past-eight till four-o-clock. Limited seats are available so contact Shahida Dudley on 021 376 3741 before the 8th of August to avoid disappointment.


# A Memorial Tribute will be held for the late Comrade Farouk Verlin Swartz on the 29th of August at St Dominics Hall, Lonedowne Road, Hanover Park from 2pm-5pm.
