Following the past weekend’s cold, wet weather and heavy downpours, good news for Capetonians is that very little rain is forecast for the week ahead.
According to the South African Weather Service, residents battling flooding after the weekend’s heavy rains will have the chance to dry out their possessions.
The weather service says that while the weekend’s cold front moves away, it will however remain cold and wet today.
It has been reported that more than a thousand people are destitute after the rains of the past weekend and Disaster Risk Management is monitoring the situation.
