Flustered Mom: Child dies a tik hostage

A four-year-old girl from the Cape Flats suffered and died from over 30 bruises on her frail body. Her step father, the man accused for her death is said to have used her as a pawn for drugs.
The little girl’s body could not handle the severe beatings she suffered and as a result her stomach ruptured from trauma in her abdomen, and that was what ultimately killed her.
Anthon Asia appeared at the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court on Thursday for the murder of little Kiara Holmes. During the bail hearing the accused denied any involvement in the death of the little girl
Kiara’s mom told the police how Asia threatened her and forced her to buy drugs using the child support grant money and how he would hold the little girl hostage until she came back.
The little girl was used by Asia to force the mother to stay with him. He would keep Kiara hostage until the mother came from where she went.
Kiara died on the same day her real father died and her mother is distraught over the death of her baby girl.
