Police are reportedly still trying to find out why an attack on members of the Mandela family on Sunday was only reported three days later.
Media reports has revealed details of the shootout at Mandela’s daughter Zindzi’s home in Atholl, where two gunmen held up the former president’s relatives in an attempted hijacking.
Their bodyguard opened fire on the suspects and they fled the scene.
Police still don't understand why it took them so long to report the incident and why no investigation has taken place.
