A Police Constable arrested for attempted murder

IPID Spokesperson Moses Dlamini said the Constable assaulted a suspected robber in KwaNonqaba while he was trying to arrest him. The assault continued when the suspect was taken to theCID offices
that is where the civilian continued to assault the suspects.
A 34-year-old Police Constable and a
38-year-old civilian were on Monday arrested by the Independent Police
Investigative Directorate for attempted murder.

"The victim was thrown against the
wall and he sustained injuries to the head.” Dlamini added.
The duo are expected to appear in
court tomorrow on charges of attempted murder.
