Thee African Christian
Democratic Party calls on Eskom to ensure load-shedding is done with least
possible disruption to economic activity.
ACDP MP and
Whip Cheryllyn Dudley said The ACDP is extremely concerned about the frequency
with which emergencies are being declared.
Dudley added that there have been calls -across the board - on government for many years to address Eskom's inability to manage the countries power supply this is now a crisis situation.
“The ACDP is calling on Parliament one of
the things we have to do is to prioritise the progression of the Independent
Services and Marketing Operations Bill, and through which business is hoping a
more competitive environment for energy supply will hopefully be created
and greater energy security in future,”
Dudley said
