Roadblocks were held across the province
over the weekend. About 2 605 vehicles were stopped in these road blocks,
and 1 706 drivers were tested for alcohol.
27 Drunken drivers were arrested and other
people were for being in possession of drugs.
Western Cape Traffic Chief said they also
arrested a speedster between Beautfort West and Aberdeen
He added that the number fatality reported
over the weekend stand at three.
