State Attorney Bill welcomed by the Portfolio Committee

The adoption of the State Attorney Bill has been welcomed by the Portfolio Committee on Justice and Development. 

Committee Chairperson Luwellyn Landers said this bill empowers the minister to develop policy in respect of various aspects of state litigation. 

The bill was adopted by the National Assembly this week. 

Landers said they are convinced that the bill provide the basis of ensuring that effective and cost efficient state will provide and all services to organs of state are improved and this measure is long overdue.
