Three people injured in separate accidents

Two people were injured after two heavy goods vehicles collided on the N1 south approximately fifty kilometres from Bloemfontein this morning.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said when they arrived at the scene and found that two people were injured after two heavy goods vehicles collided.

“One of the vehicles then overturned and came to a halt in the middle of the motorway while the second vehicle came to a halt on the side of the road.

Both patients were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care,” Steinmann added.

Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.

In a separate accident a motorcycle was critically wounded in an accident on Markgraaf Street in Bloemfontein this morning.

Netcare 911 Spokesperpeson Santi Steinmann said when they arrived at the scene they found that one person was in a critical condition following the motorcycle accident.

“The patient was treated on scene before being rushed to hospital for further medical care.” Steinmann added.

Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
