Two separate accidents leave four people dead

Three people died and seven others were left injured in an accident on the R75 in Uitenhage late last night. 

It is believed that two vehicles collided into each other which resulted in several people trapped in the two vehicles. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when we arrived there bodies were laying everywhere and some people were still trapped in the vehicles

Botha said the seven who were injured and taken to hospital for further treatment. 

Meanwhile in another accident which happened in Kimberley one person died.

Paramedics said the woman lost control of the vehicle which resulted in the car overturning several times before coming to a halt.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said the woman was ejected from the vehicle and tragically lost her life and another woman was entrapped in the vehicle and jaws of life had to be used to free her. 

Steinmann added that a man also sustained moderate injuries and was taken to hospital.
