WCED to start 2015 enrolment process soon

Western Cape Department of Education says the main hindrance in placing learners in schools is late enrolment. 

Now the WCED will in the coming weeks be opening enrolment process and the department has urged parents to take this opportunity to enrol their children on time to avoid difficulties next year.

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronagh Casey said the department is planning a number of initiatives to ensure that a large number of learners are enrolled in school for 2015.

Casey said even with measures in place but the main responsibility is with the parents to register their kids in time.
