Young people encouraged to study Agriculture

Western Cape MEC of Agriculture and rural Development Gerrit van Rensburg this week handed over around R98 000 food garden to the Boniface Primary School. 

MEC van Rensburg said this is important because we need more young people to study agricultural disciplines as food security is becoming a very important issue for mankind.

Ministerial Spokesperson Wouter Kriel said the garden has been finished it consist of two vegetable tunnels.

“The principal was grateful and she said this would help in the community with food security and minister van Rensburg said he hoped that the project will strengthen and install love for the soil in the students who will be helping in the garden.” Kriel added.
