Police arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of a 14 year old Ravensmead boy at the weekend.
On arrival at the scene, police found the body of Jaybe Beukes from Disa Avenue, Uitsig with a gunshot wound in his chest.
“Information gathered on the scene led to the arrest of three suspects in the vicinity of the scene,” said police Inspector F.C. Van Wyk.
He added that the firearm used during the incident was not found and the motive for the murder has not yet been determined.
The suspects, aged 17, 29 and 33 years are expected to appear in the Goodwood Magistrate's court today, while police investigations continue.
